Taking the Hawaii Ocean Science and Technology (HOST) Park as an example, this facility, operated by the Hawaii Natural Energy Laboratory Authority (NELHA), has deployed a direct ocean capture pilot plant developed by Captura with an annual carbon capture capacity of 10 million tons .
